In preparation for this holiday, we wanted to give you some recipe inspiration with some of our favourite healthy thanksgiving dishes.
Butternut Squash, Apple & Cranberry Bake – This is one of the dishes that comes back every year because it is so simply delicious. Savoury meets sweet meets tart in this dish featuring all produce you can find at your local market! The warming spices pull the dish all together and is great served beside your turkey and mashed potatoes.
Apple, Cranberry & Candied Walnut Salad – With all of the hearty, warming dishes typically served around thanksgiving, it’s great to have some fresh, lighter dishes. We like to switch up the greens in this recipe to include some massaged kale.
Stuffed Pumpkin – Now this dish is one that might almost be too pretty to eat. Not only will it look great on your thanksgiving table, it tastes just as delicious!
Crockpot Apple Cider – Nothing will make your house smell better than a big pot of apple cider simmering all day. It’s the perfect warming drink to sip on while waiting for the turkey to cook and sitting outside in the chilly fall weather.
