Oats are a healthy cereal that are rich in fibre, protein and minerals. Oats can be used to make porridge and baked goods, but did you know they can also create a creamy, delicious (and sustainable!) milk? Canadians are familiar with oats and all of their healthy, hearty goodness. Since Canada is the largest exporter of oats and they can be found throughout nearly every aisle in the grocery store.

As a company that loves to support local farmers and industries, we love to support both dairy farmers and oat farmers. We proudly work with oat and barley farmers in Ontario. Since many Canadians are looking to incorporate more plant-based options into their diet, oat milk is a great place to start.

Want to try oat milk at home? There are some Canadian brands that are now selling oat milk in grocery stores, however nothing beats homemade.
